Hi, I’m Ben…

A small-business owner who happens to do insurance.

I’m really glad our paths crossed.

If you’ve made it this far, it probably means something here resonates with you—and that means a lot. My story’s simple, but it’s shaped by real people, real lessons, and a genuine drive to help others protect what matters most. Maybe you landed here for a reason—so let’s make it count.

Why I Love What I Do

I’ve lived and worked alongside business owners my whole life, and since about 2010, I’ve focused exclusively on helping small businesses and busy professionals protect what they’ve built.

So when I say I get it, I really do.
That’s why I love doing what I do — because I understand what’s at stake..

I grew up in a small-business family.
My dad left a big national carrier to start his own agency, and I saw firsthand what that life’s really like — the risk, the grind, the pride.

I’ve spent my entire life in small business. I’ve only ever supported my family by running small businesses of my own — several insurance agencies, all successful and still going strong.

My friends range from contractors, professionals, and restaurant owners to VC-backed tech founders..

The Lesson That Changed How I Work

Years ago, I got sued for not hiring an applicant.

I didn’t believe I’d done anything wrong, but I learned a painful lesson: that would’ve protected me, called Employment Practices Liability.

Most people don’t need more coverage — they need clear, honest conversations about what actually matters.

My job is to make that process simple.

I handle the heavy lifting, cut through the noise, and help you make confident decisions — while doing everything possible to protect your time, energy, and money.

You stay in control, but you don’t have to carry the load alone.

Outside the Office

When I’m not working, I’m usually outdoors with my wife, Susie Q, and our three kids hiking, Jeeping through Utah, or finding live music and great food.

Susie’s a horticulturist who grew up in the Napoleon Dynamite house in Preston, Idaho.

Our daughters are in college — one studying mental health, the other medicine and music — and our son is a physics‑loving science brain

They keep me grounded, curious, and grateful.

At the End of the Day

I built Ben Page Insurance for people building something real — small business owners, professionals, and entrepreneurs who want their insurance handled clearly, carefully, and well.
I primarily serve clients in Idaho and Utah, but anyone’s welcome to reach out.

If I can’t help you directly, I’ll connect you with someone who can.
I’ll handle the hard parts. You make the calls.
That’s how it should be.
